Fellow bloggers has been asking me where do the advertising banners on my sidebar come from.  If you are also interested in making money while blogging to double your pleasure, the list of affiliate programmes below should be helpful:

Link Share and Commission Junction - The companies provide you pay-per-performance affiliate marketing networks which allow you to make money by placing merchant’s ads, text links or product links on your blogs/websites.  More than hundreds of companies, including some Fortune 500 has joined these programs as advertisers and therefore you would definitely find appropriate affiliate programs that fit you niche.  For instance, the ads of  MAGAZINES.com and Simply Audiobooks etc at this blog are provided by the Link Share while the Yahoo! Merchant Solutions and “GiftCertificates.com” by Commission Junction.  Wanna join?  Click: LinkShare.com and CJ.com

Link Worth - This is a new found treasure.  I actually discovered it during my research for this post - therefore still at the beginning of the learning curve.  Having said that, I am obliged to recommend it for the range of products it offers, which include: text link ads, paid blog reviews, in-text links, in-content pay per click ads, rotating text ads, hosted content pages, article submission, directory submission…  With this coverage there must be some that suit your needs.  Interested to know more?  Click the big banner of Link Worth I just added at my sidebar.

Google Adsense - You know this one, right?  Google Adsense is a pay-per-click programme which allows you to earn revenue whenever your readers click on the Google Adsense advertisements (such as the two advertisement blocks printed in green at my sidebar) on your blog.  Not registered for the program yet?  Click the Google Adsense banner at my side bar to kick start.

Text Link Ads - This is another commonly seen program that allows you to make money by publishing simple and relevant text based ads at your site.   To enroll, click: Text Link Ads.

Amazon Associates - Needless to introduce this one…  It really works for me for it allows me to introduce the many books and films and music and merchandise that I like at this blog with just a few clicks.  Besides text link ads and advertising banners, you can also choose to build an “a-Store” to showcase the selected items that suit your niche/you would like to recommend.  You may take a look of my Law of Attraction Store and The Entrepreneur Store to get a better idea.  Click here to join the Amazon Associates program.

There should be plenty more out there.  Do recommend the one that you like by leaving a comment!

    Dear Takuin,

You’re most welcome. Glad that you like the post and hope the information is useful you.

    Hi Edward,

Nice meeting you. I’m a new member of Text-Link-Ads and in the past 4 days since the banner is added I haven’t got any referral yet.

You would generally need at least a page rank of 3 or higher and a decent Alexa rating before people start buying links on your site via TLA.
