Dear BeachBum,

Thanks for dropping by and letting me know your views.

Dear Michael,

I do like your avatar very much, very "inviting". A great design.

Interesting that you mention personality and person, and I can tell you that I feel that you are a very warm and helpful person from my experience of reading your blog and having conversations with you in the comments sections. I think no matter we use our name / photo or not, we do show our personality through our writing, and our attitude on certain things.

Dear Peter,

Thanks! Yes, do what feels comfortable with is the most important. And, I actually learn a lot from you on blogging etiquette.

I'm glad you liked my avatar! I was pleased when I designed that logo, and seeing as how it looks it like a face, it seemed the perfect choice when I signed up for MyBlogLog. :)

In my blog, I try to be personal, but only to a certain extent. By reading my posts (And more so my comments), I think you could find out a lot about my personality, but you couldn't actually find out about my person.

I do use my real name (A name helps with a personality I think), but I've never given photos, my age, overly personal stories etc. It's just something I've never felt the need to do. I'm not bothered by seeing other people's photos online. It tells me a lot less about who they are, than what they actually say does.

As for your name, lol, I was a little confused at first as well! I originally thought you were called Grace (I have a friend by that name), but eventually I saw others calling you Shine, so I assumed that that was the right choice. ;)

Yes, I use my own photo. I think the people that use hot girls as their avatar do it for attention and to get a click.

As for personal info, I give out a little, but not much. I'm working on a contact system for my blog so that I don't have to worry about email SPAM and poor delivery. Still testing it out.
