Opportunities Are Always Unimaginable

Life is full of surprises.
If we only allow us to approach life from our knowledge and experiences, judge people based on our perceptions, solve problems according to instructions given, we can miss a lot - opportunities, friendships, breakthroughs…
In most unimaginable situations, you may find the love of your life, your ideal profession, an enlightenment. If you only hold fast to what you already know, what you understand, and refuse to take in new ideas, be exposed to new experiences, meeting new people, giving a second chance to a particular person / situation, you would have difficulty in proceeding to the next level.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
~ Benjamin Franklin
Never jump to conclusions hastily. Don’t just stay in your comfort zone. Don’t assume there is only one way (you way) to get the thing done. Circulate with more people. Be open to different ideas and opinions. Have a relaxed attitudes towards life. You will discover that the world is much bigger than you thought. You will find that there are better and easier ways to handle any situation. Giving up the following thinking / saying can actually help you to be more open to life:
- It’s always done this way.
- He’s always like this.
- I’ve never been able to…
- She can’t be changed.
- I’ve tried before.
- They won’t allow me to…
- There is on hope in the situation…

I was just writing on this topic the other day and never posted it.
Obviously it was meant to be written about since one of us did!

I spent December telling my friend that i was breaking out of “Small” thinking. Tracing some of my responses to various things that have become ingrained in my thinking over the years.
Wonderful article!
Thanks Jon, yes, the magic of thinking big… I keep reminding myself that we shouldn’t be too confined by our experience, or what we can imagine.
Another great post! I agree, and I think it helps to maintain an attitude of openness towards difference for when the opportunities emerge, the can be embraced.
