Dear Grace,

Thanks for your sharing. This made me ponder of my situation. I used to get angry with one of my colleague. Both of us are supervisors and work under one manager. We are on shift duty and I always being annoy by her: when she hand over duty to me, she always mess up things and left down a mess for me to follow through. Moreover, when in turn I have to handover duty to her; she usually procastinates and not willing to takeover her duty from me.

She is much more senior than me (>15 yrs experience than me in supervisor role), sometimes I just thing that why can't she work hands in hands with me; support and teach me how to get through the work stress but instead left down a mess for me to handle!

Sometimes she really made me mad and I have nothing personal to do or talk with her except work things. Yesterday somebody from other department ask me if I know that she is going to resign and I was unhappy. Althouth I dislike her and disagree with her work style, I have been work with her for ~ 10 years. I don't know want her to leave, I just want her to change and pay more effort in work.

But now, once when I know that she want to resign, I just don't want her to leave. At least I dont' need to train another new supervisor, on top of this I need to train so much green staff already. I take up my role as supervisor for ~ 1 year only....and I am so exhausted and frustrated to here that.
