Born to Shine

I believe that we are born to shine.

I nevertheless didn’t believe, nor think, nor behave this way, not until quite recently. I used to believe that I was very much limited. I hated failure and defeat - and therefore, I always played safe, which translated into avoiding challenges and choosing, many times, the second best - and kept feeling unfulfilled.

I began a search - to find ways to live life more fully. And gradually I reach out of my comfort zone, bit by bit, to try things I’ve not tried before, to think bigger than I used to. I began to let better results, and in many times a little bit better than I could have expected.

We are too ignorant to be a pessimist.

If the Wright Brothers had believed that there is no way whatsoever for human beings to fly, we won’t have planes today. Whenever we believe that we can’t do something, by default we prove that we are right - for we won’t even try to make things work. Yes we might fail, but what if we might succeed?

And therefore I continue my search, begin making some conscious decisions and work hard to make things happen.

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back– Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
